The, the Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education (SCOPE), and the collaborate to support educator-driven professional development that benefits all California schools andĀ students. Together, these organizations created the Instructional Leadership Corps (ILC) to build a network of accomplished classroom teachers, site leaders, administrators, and higher education professionals. We have expanded the program into rural or underserved areas. All teams are creating and sustaining professional learning where Educators Educate Educators.
Since Fall 2014, the ILC has served over 141,000 educators representing thousands of California public schools in at least 570 school districts.
In partnership with the California Teachers Association, the Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education, and the National Board Resource Center at Stanford University, we have published a resource guide for educators wanting to develop equitable classrooms and grow instructional capacity.
